  Located in the plaza at Dundas and McQuay in Whitby, this subway is tucked away and would be hard to find if you didn't know it was there. We came in on a weekend around lunch time to grab something quick to eat.
  
  We had the unfortunate experience of being stuck behind someone who originally had ordered 6 subs and ended up with 10. Yes, 10 footlong subs. *sigh*. So part of the lower rating is because of the inevitably long wait to get served. There were two employees working, one of which who kept stopping to move bread from pan to oven and back again, which was a complete waste of time considering there were an additional 6 people in line besides the women ordering 10 footlongs. It would have been better if both employees worked on the big order to get it done faster rather than one person trying to do it all themselves.
  
  My biggest pet peeve at Subway is being asked what I'd like and then being asked again. If you weren't going to listen the first time then don't bother asking until you're prepared. This seems to happen at a lot of places and here was no exception. The guy behind the counter was completely out of it so the service here wasn't great.
  
  My sandwich was sloppily made. He started off well, folding the turkey properly but then got lazy and just slapped it on the bread. And then he overcooked the crap out of the bacon I added so it was one hard long line of bacon instead of two nice pieces. Of course it tasted fine but when made badly, those sandwiches tend to fall apart.
  
  Overall, this wasn't one of my better subway experiences and I'll probably not come here again unless I can't think of anything else i want in the area. The staff here needs to step it up - I get that it was busy but that's part of the deal working at a place like this. And a smile from either of them would have been nice as opposed to the nothing I got.
